Len Ang is a PhD student at the Department of Political and Social Change. Prior to being admitted into the PhD program, Len was a former student with a Master’s Degree of Public Policy at the Crawford School of Public Policy specialization in policy analysis at ANU. He obtained two BA programs from the Royal University of Phnom Penh and a private university in Phnom Penh. He also had some extensive leadership and research learning experience from an exchange program to the US and held a position as a Research Associate at the Cambodia Development Resource Institute (CDRI).

Len is a passionate and dedicated individual, spending his entire career after graduation to research some key development thematic areas on local politics and democratic development. He has a long vision dedicated to conducting research, intending to provide evidence-based analysis to improve and empower citizen participation in the decision-making process and policy implementation. Len believes that research can enhance citizens’ democratic participation. Therefore, he has contributed his political views to some international publications: The Diplomat, International Policy Digest, E-international Relations, and Asian Vision Institute, and other local publication outlets. He has authored and co-authored working and policy papers for the Cambodian Development Resource Institute, the World Bank, DFIT/UNICEF, the Asian Vision Institute, Plan International, and various local organizations.
